Provides assistance with transitional/emergency housing, advocating on behalf of homeless and at risk of homelessness individuals and families, access support/social agencies, landlord and tenant mediation services, ensuring client access to employment services, assisting youth in returning to school, development of life, social and financial management skills, assistance with utility bills, and referral to other social services.

COMMUNITY NOURISHMENT PROGRAM
Do you need help buying groceries? Are you interested in healthy eating? Could you use a $100 grocery gift card?
The Youth & Family Resource Network of Essex County has launched a new program!
The Community Nourishment Program is looking for individuals/families living in low income Essex County who are interested in learning about:
- Healthy Eating
- Importance of Budgeting
- Shopping on a Budget
Each participant is required to attend two separate workshops/meetings. After each session the individual will receive a $50 grocery gift card.
In order to qualify as a participant you must fall under a certain income bracket. For more information on becoming a participant, please contact the Program Coordinator: Marianne Haddad, 519-733-8983 ext. 26.

Support for residents of Essex County with household needs and assistance lowering overall costs of living.

Teen Health Centre: A nurse practitioner is available at our Kingsville site on Mondays from 4 pm to 6 pm (no appointment necessary).
Teen Health Centre: A counselor is available at our Kingsville site on Thursday afternoons (by appointment only).
Sexual Assault Crisis Centre: A counselor is available at our Kingsville site on Wednesday afternoons (by appointment only).
Windsor Regional Children's Crisis Centre Crisis Services: A counselor is available at our Kingsville site on Monday afternoons (by appointment only).
